Kristopher was 14 years old. A normal kid. 8th grade. A full life ahead of him. His father, Charlie Ray, had no idea that one ordinary evening was about to change everything.

In a single moment, Charlie found his son in crisis. He got him down. He started CPR on the floor of his own home his nine-year-old daughter at his side, sirens filling the street outside.

For three days, Charlie sat beside hospital machines and doctors, hoping with everything he had. On the third day, the news came. Kristopher was not going to make it. He was 14 years old. He never graduated 8th grade.

Charlie didn't collapse into that loss. He walked through it and came out the other side asking one question that has driven everything since: What was happening inside Kristopher? And how do we reach the next young person before that moment arrives?

That question became a decade of research. It became a framework. And it became this campaign named for the son whose life Charlie has spent every day since trying to honor.
